Wages & Benefits

JCI is committed to providing a competitive benefit package.  Most benefits are effective the first day of the month following the hire date (first day on the job), for full-time (minimum average of 32 hours), regular status employees. The following benefits are included in our total compensation package: 

 ●  Medical Health Insurance including prescription,
   chiropractic, and vision: This coverage is 
   provided for employees and their families (as 
   qualified).  JCI offers a choice of two plans.  JCI 
   pays 80% of the base plan premium.  
 ●  Dental Insurance: This coverage is provided for 
   employees and their families (as qualified).  JCI 
   pays 80% of the premium.   
 ●  Wellness Program: The Wellness Program offers 
   a systematic way for employees to develop or 
   maintain a healthy lifestyle.  An independent 
   wellness company has a trainer onsite for 
   nutrition and exercise advice, including personal 
   training.  JCI also offers an on-site fitness facility 
   that is available to all employees.  
 ●  Tuition reimbursement is provided for job related
   courses, with pre-approval.  100% less cost of
   books/fees.

 

 

 

 

●  401(k) Plan: We currently offer a variety of investment options through JP 
    Morgan.  Full-time Employees are eligible to participate as soon as 
    administratively feasible following date of hire. Employees are able to defer up 
    to 40% of their income into this 401(k) plan.  JCI matches 75 cents per dollar on 
    the first 4% of employee 401k contribution. 
●  STD/LTD/ Life: Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Short Term 
    Disability and Long Term Disability: JCI pays 100% of the premium for the 
    employee.  Supplemental Life and AD&D is also available at employee cost.

●  Paid Holidays: We currently offer 8 paid holidays; New Years Day, Memorial 
    Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after 
    Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and one JCI specified holiday each year.  
●  Time Management (TM): TM is accrued on a bi-weekly basis to be used for 
    vacations, illness, and emergencies.  TM begins accruing at hire and is 
    available to use following 120 days of employment with JCI.  
●  FlexPlan (Section 125 Plan): This plan allows  
    you to pay for your benefits (medical/dental  
    premium), dependent care and non-covered  
    eligible medical and dental expenses with pre- 
    tax dollars.
