Johnson Crushers International, Inc. (JCI) has added an optional hydraulic slide to the overhead feed conveyor on its wheel-mounted, closed-circuit cone plants. The hydraulic slide moves the conveyor frame and belt to the side, allowing producers to easily access the cone for liner changes and other maintenance. The standard design requires disassembly of the conveyor side for access.
The new optional slide is an alternative to the more advanced option of a two-piece, hydraulically-folding feed conveyor that can easily be moved for maintenance.
